OpenFrag publishes guides to open-source and PC gaming: free and open-source FPS games and engines, Linux and Steam Deck gaming, and the PC gear FPS players buy.

Pages are written by the OpenFrag editorial team and edited by Robert Thomas.

We are not the original team

From 2003 to 2013, OpenFrag was an open-source first-person shooter project. That project has ended. This website does not continue the game, and we are not the people who made it.

The domain later changed hands. From 2016 to 2025 it redirected to a German gaming site. We do not recreate that site, and we do not republish its pages.

Who edits the site

Robert Thomas edits OpenFrag. We publish the name only. There is no biography on this site.
